Sporting KC Academy Tryouts: 2023-24

The Sporting Kansas City Academy is hosting tryouts for the U-13 and U-14 2024-2025 season. We do not hold open tryouts for the U-15, U-17 and U-19 age groups.



U-13 Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2023-24 Sporting Kansas City U-13 team have concluded. Check back here in the spring of 2024 for information regarding future tryouts. 

U-14 Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2023-24 Sporting Kansas City U-14 team have concluded. Check back here in the spring of 2024 for information regarding future tryouts. 



Quick Facts About Sporting KC Academy U-13 and U-14 Teams

  • Training is four times per week at Swope Soccer Village.
  • Regional Travel is required on select weekends.
  • Players may miss 2 to 4 days of school per semester due to travel and showcase tournaments.
  • The SKC U-14 team is fully funded.
  • The SKC U-13 team is partially funded. Sporting KC takes care of the following: coaching fees, uniform fees, field rental costs, tournament entry fees, league fees and player registration fees.  The players are responsible for paying for the following: transportation and room & board while traveling.
