Jake Davis, Gavin Krenecki and Tucker Lepley named United Soccer Coaches Youth All-Americans

Sporting Kansas City Academy U-19 players Jake Davis and Tucker Lepley (pictured above), along with Sporting Kansas City Academy U-17 goalkeeper Gavin Krenecki were named United Soccer Coaches Youth All-Americans on Tuesday. In addition, Sporting Kansas City Academy U-17 players Osvaldo Cisneros and Rokas Pukstas were named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Youth Boys All-Central Region Team.

Davis, Krenecki and Lepley were among 51 players nationwide to receive United Soccer Coaches Youth All-American accolades. The trio will be formally recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony and Reception on Jan. 18, 2020, at the Baltimore Convention Center in conjunction with the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention.

Davis, a 17-year-old midfielder from Rochester, Michigan, joined the Sporting KC Academy in 2017 and has scored eight goals in 48 appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He joined Sporting Kansas City for preseason in 2019 and went on to record two assists in five appearances for Sporting Kansas City II in the 2019 USL Championship campaign.

Krenecki, a 16-year-old from Sacramento, California, joined the Sporting KC Academy in January and has made 14 appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He signed an Academy contract with Sporting Kansas City II in September and has featured for the United States at the Under-14 and Under-16 youth national team levels.

Lepley, a 17-year-old midfielder from Charlotte, North Carolina, joined the Sporting KC Academy in 2018 and has scored six goals in 30 appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He also joined Sporting Kansas City for preseason in 2019 and made 10 appearances for Sporting Kansas City II in the USL Championship this year. This month, Lepley debuted for the U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team with three appearances at the 19th annual Nike International Friendlies in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Cisneros, a 15-year-old forward from Omaha, Nebraska, joined the Sporting KC Academy in 2016 and has scored 15 goals in 57 appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. An active member of the U.S. U-15 Boys' National Team, he scored three goals for the United States at the 2019 Concacaf Boys Under-15 Championship this summer 

Pukstas, a 15-year-old midfielder from Stillwater, Oklahoma, joined the Sporting KC Academy in 2018 and has scored 19 goals in 35 appearances in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. A teammate with Cisneros on the U.S. U-15 Boys' National Team, he appeared in all five matches for the United States at the 2019 Concacaf Boys Under-15 Championship.
