Rokus Pukstas (No. 15) and Osvaldo Cisneros (No. 7) with USA U-15s
Sporting Kansas City Academy forward Osvaldo Cisneros (No. 7 above) and midfielder Rokus Pukstas (No. 15 above) featured for the United States in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Portugal in the semifinals of the 2019 Concacaf U-15 Championship at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Cisneros, who finished his tournament campaign with three goals, started and played the full 80 minutes. Pukstas, who appeared in all five tournament matches for the Americans alongside Cisneros, entered early in the second half against an impressive Portugal side that scored three times between the 58th and 68th minutes.
The result came two days after Cisneros scored both goals in the USA's 2-0 quarterfinal victory over Costa Rica on Thursday. Pukstas played an integral role in the lead-up to both strikes, with Cisneros bagging his first in the 11th minute and doubling his total in the 47th minute.
Cisneros and Pukstas will now return to Kansas City to resume preparations for the 2019-20 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season with Sporting.
